ok I read book one and loved it so I immediately added book two to my wish list. so when a friend gave me my gift card I ordered this book and couldn't wait to read it. Well I started reading and it was doing ok but I kept waiting for more. they dragged out the romance hinted at gang violence but never solved who broke in her home. had the twist of a murder but it was way to obvious. I felt like this was a basic novel with too many open ends and I lost interest. I did read the whole book in hopes of some thrills but just never got them. sorry I usually like this author but we'll this one is an exception.Product details

While the storyline pretty much kept my interest, the premise that this threesome fell in love almost immediately was immature and simplistic. The ending required having read book one to be able to relate to. Disappointing.
When one runs from a relationship that’s turned bad only to fall into one that’s great could be a little shocking. Dr Zoey is saved by officer Thad and his roommate/best friend builder Pete. Zoey is in a new state, town and job when she’s attacked and these two strong men save her physically and in every other way. An interesting look into a ménage relationship.
I can't believe I am going to say this, but this book was a little wordy for me. The heroine is a psychologist and thinks and talks too much. Three troubled souls meet and bond, eventually. This is a series that takes place in Rock Hard, Montana, a town that apparently accepts marriage of 2 men and a woman. It is hard to suspend disbelief that this would be accepted, but that is how these kind of series seem to work.
It's a little different when romance involves a tri-partners, but I'm feeling ok with the concept. I would love for even one man to dote on and focus on me entirely. Can't imagine, except through your stories, what it would be like to have two men's total attention. I'll keep reading your books and live vicariously that way. Good writing and character development!
This started out with a good mix of writing and characters. As the story went on, the characters seemed to be a mix of after school specials and mid afternoon soaps. The secondary characters seemed to add very little to the story except for Miss Crazy pants from out of nowhere that sliced up her presumed lover’s new flings. The writing was focused on more landscape, the size of the barn and what Nana’s present was packaged with.
Could have been a contender but just lacks a little this and that. A 3.5 Star.
Vella Day writes fabulous erotica menage romance and this story is one more to include on your list to read or choose now. Foundation For Three is a tale of one woman and two men. All are successful professionals in their own respected fields with interesting hobbies & passions but flaws and insecurities too. Like many people, these three get caught up in their own thinking about not being good enough. Speaking honestly with one another is absolutely necessary to make their relationship work, but can these three overcome personal flaws? Is running scared easier? Read this exciting murder mystery with sexy erotic romance to find out the truth.
And the characters are just so-so. She is analyzing them to the point of boring and Pete is a fickle mess. Keeps you guessing who the bad guy is until last minute but the pace is excruciating.
