First of all, this series of books has beautiful covers. (Yes, you know by now that covers are very important to me!) I enjoyed this foray into the world of the Sentinels as much as I did the others. There is plenty of action here to go along with the romance. I've always liked the idea that their life tree leaves show how much soul the Sentinel has left, and how some try to hide this from their brethren. Nika and Madoc have great chemistry, even though Madoc tries to distance himself. I believe there's plenty of more life in this series - there are plenty more Sentinels whose stories need telling. Also, I'm very intrigued by the Sanguinars.

This is the fourth book of the series and with each one it gets better. This book has more action and adventure along with romance. Ready to read the next book. I recommend this book.
As usual, the story of the Theronai is more interesting than the romance. Wish both could be intriguing. May be next time?
This is a very fun series to read. It's got romance, but it's also got a very good story line with action and suspense to keep the reader interested.
I love this series. It is well done and very insightful! I really liked the characters in this one but still want the first ones to be more of a part of the story. I still like the first one the best and of course the characters from it! I can't wait to read the next installment of this series.
I always knew Nika and Madoc would get together, and I wanted both characters to be happy. But, I've never liked them very much as characters, so this book was not my favorite in the series. I just read it so that I would be ready for the next novel. Some of the aspects with the secondary characters really got to me though and made the book more enjoyable. If you like this series, then I recommend this book.
I have read a lot of paranormal romance and it isn't often I read an entire series do to boredom. This series has a lot of action, romance, and a variety of characters. You will fall each of the hero's and feel for the heroine. You will root for the good guys and really dislike the bad guys. The only flaw I have found is the combination of all the other stories on the sideline. Simply because I would love to read their stories also. Great books.
This is one of my favorite pairings in the series. Tragic Madoc, traumatized Nika, The quest to save her sister. Not only did this have a great love story, it had a great side-story with them trying to find Tori.

I also really like the side story with Torr and Grace. I'm hoping we get a full book about them. It's like a teaser, we get just enough to get us attached to the characters.

I think these books are a great series. It would be hard to jump in and read these out of order, or read this as a stand-alone. You need the back story to truly understand whot he Sentinel are, what they stand for, and how they're paired up.

I can't wait for the next book!
This one is the story of Madoc and Nika (Andra's sister from prior books). Madoc believes he is past saving, but he is not. It takes Nika a while to get through to him, but she finally does. She has a more unusual talent than some of the other Theronai females, and I won't spoil it by telling it.

What is never explained well is why the other warriors' touch hurts Nika. Maybe that point is just not important? What does come to light is a lot of information about Angus and Gilda, and by extension Maura and Sibyl. A new chapter opens up there. We are also introduced to two new females, and learn more about the Sanguinar. They are much more human in this one, leading up of course for the next book. We learn about the mysterious Lullaby Project referenced in prior books. So, as usual, some mysteries are explained and more are revealed. I still love this series. It just seems to get better and better. There are so many interwoven story lines and characters, I'm just amazed at this author's talent to keep all of them going and interesting without being overwhelming for the reader. 5 star read for me.
