Some really imaginative ways to tell tales of zombies. There are a couple stories herein that didn't do it for me, but for the most part this zombie anthology was very good.

Well worth your time, if you like zombies.
I'd say about 92% of these stories were good, thought provoking. One or two were excellent, and then there are the 3 that I couldn't force myself to read. This was a great anthology all in all, especially for the price. The stories vary, so you have a variety. My favorite was the one of the man describing what to do to stay alive after the zombie apocalypse, with a jocular twist at the very end. I couldn't help but laugh out loud! It was so unexpected. Enjoy!
Well, there's a lot of detailed views to consider, so I can give you one to zip by and weigh-in a bit.

This book suffers the usual Anthology's curse A few really good ones (who knew I'd love a zombie cowboy story?) and a few just awful ones, as if they were technically proficient freshmen, without the time to take more than one step past current formulae in creative writing of this subject.

Give this a lazy read. Read a story now and then, don't forget about the book (you don't want to miss one of the good ones,) but don't waste important time alone I brought this book with me always, at work, in waiting rooms, etc, so I have a fair opinion of it as a whole.

The only true bias I had to this, is some of the best stories I'd already read before (Clive, Poppy, etc.) and wanted more from some of the 'new (to me) material.' Some passed, some failed.

Read the titles to the stories, if some are from your favourite authors, and then weigh-in. If you haven't, at least get the book for these, and the other two or three wonderful surprises i'd found. If I could, I'd shave the content by half, and make this an excellent read.

This book would be great if all of the stories were in it. Otherwise it's just a waste of money and space on my kindle.
Do not buy this book on your kindle!!! It is missing many stories from the actual paperback book. And most of the stories missing are the best ones. It is a rip off and I wish I could get my money back. Especially since the book is about the same price as the kindle edition.
This review is not on the stories within the book but on the format of this book. I purchased the book for a class and had not read the reviews. Well here I am in week 3 and I just realized a required story I need to read is not included (This Year's Class Picture - Dan Simmons). Thankfully I was able to get the ebook for the story but it cost me additional money to do so. The reason I purchased the format in the first place was because it was cheaper than a new paper copy of the book. needs to fix this. It's ridiculous.

Missing stories 1) "This Year's Class Picture, 2) "Ghost Dance", and 3) "Less Than Zombie".
Missing several stories that are in the hard copy of the book. I hadn't realized until I had to read a story for class, and now it is too late to get my money back. Stuff like this should be right at the top so people know they're getting an incomplete product. Very unhappy.
