Wonderful tale, twisting worlds and words. Fantastic read....
In a time when so many books are just the latest reincarnation of The Giver or Game of Thrones, Black Bells is a breath of fresh air, if you'll forgive the cliché. The author creates a totally unique world where childhood memories take a haunting twist and leaves you guessing until the very end. The writing itself is excellent; Napier does a wonderful job of weaving a descriptive story without talking down to her audience.
